Jack Banks - Activities and Participation Officer

Hello, I’m Jack!

I came to Preston from Liverpool and graduated with a BA Hons in Sociology. During my studies, I was part of men’s Rugby Union for 3 years, and became Chairman in my last year.

I stood for APO because I wanted to make sure that students get the most out of their experience during their time at UCLan! My role as APO predominantly involves being the main link between the students and the union regarding clubs and societies as well as organising other recreational activities for all to participate in.

I have three main goals for this year: to increase sports participation, continue the increase of recreational sports leagues and to work with societies to continue the increase in their reputation.
