Reni Eddo-Lodge - President

Hi, my name is Reni Eddo-Lodge, and I’m your Students’ Union President.

My position involves being a bit of a “Jill of all trades”, but underpinning each one is the driving desire to make life better for students. Being president involves talking to the university on a regular basis to make sure we win fair deals for students.

I represent UCLan’s student body (around 35,000 students) locally and nationally. We’re a diverse group and I ensure that every voice is heard. First and foremost, our Union is a democracy, and my job is to oversee that fact.

Our Students’ Union is full of opportunities to enrich your time at UCLan - I’d recommend you grabbing them with both hands.
