My name is Aasiyah, a first year student training to become a children's nurse Insha'Allah.
I believe I am a suitable candidate for the Public Relations Officer role due to my previous experience working with local madrassahs for fundraising events. As a small business owner, I have had the oppurtunity to take part in more charity events, hold stalls at community bazaars, and be involved with markets around Preston. I have created strong connections with others in my field which will help when planning ISOC events in the future. These include fellow business owners, local scholars, and other individuals who would make excellent guest speakers.
With this experience, I hope to contribute towards inclusive, practical and inspiring events, that will Insha'Allah strengthen and unite the Muslim community further.
