Candidate for the position of GP Society - Vice Chair

Zain Naqvi

I am excited about the opportunity to run for Vice Chair of the GP Society at our medical school because I deeply value the role of general practice in our healthcare system. I believe that GPs are at the heart of community health, providing holistic and continuous care. As Vice Chair, I aim to foster a collaborative environment where each member feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.

My approach to teamwork is rooted in open communication and mutual respect. I've learned from group projects and volunteer experiences that listening is just as important as leading. By encouraging diverse ideas and honest feedback, I believe we can strengthen our society’s initiatives and outreach programs.

I’m eager to work alongside the Chair to build a supportive network for our members, enhancing our learning experiences and expanding our impact in the community. Together, we can shape a more inclusive and effective GP Society that truly reflects our collective passion for family medicine.
