As secretary, I will base my role off of principles I think are key to being a part of a rugby team:
- Experience: I have experience as a member of a society committee having been part of the first committee of the UCLan Vet Society. I hope to use the experience I gained there to be the secretary that the team deserves.
- A love of the game: I have played rugby for the last five years and hope to become another friendly face that people can come to if they want to talk, not just about rugby.
- Organisation: I am organised and enjoy making sure things run smoothly. If I am elected as secretary, I will do my best to make sure that games and events run without a hitch.
- Being a willing ear: if anyone has any worries or stresses that they feel is too much, I will be happy to listen. Sometimes, just having someone to vent to can be a huge help and I want to make sure that everyone on the team feels that they can come to me with anything.
