Candidate for the position of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society - Social Secretary

Nana Akosua Ohene-darkoh

During my journey through medical school, I've been deeply passionate about women's health, driven by the recognition of a significant gap in research tailored to the conditions affecting women. As I step into the role of social secretary, I'm committed to collaborating with the committee to organize events that shed light on the diverse range of health issues women encounter. Additionally, I aim to promote gender equality within the field.

Obstetrics and gynecology represent vital areas of medicine, and it's crucial that their importance is widely recognized. As social secretary, I will ensure that our events effectively convey the significance of these specialties, raising awareness and fostering a greater understanding of women's health issues. Together, we can empower individuals with knowledge and advocate for the well-being of women in healthcare and beyond.
