Hello, everyone! I'm Zaina, a fourth-year medical student committed to making a difference. I'm running for several positions in the upcoming by-elections and would appreciate your support.
Here is a brief overview of my journey so far:
- Social Secretary for UCLan Surgical Society: I reintroduced and organised the Suturing Workshop in 2022/23.
- Currently serving as the Vice-Chair for UCLan’s Surgical Society in 2023/24, where I have enjoyed organising engaging workshops and inviting inspiring speakers for our members.
- Social Media Head for OrthoCon UK 2024 UCLan Conference.
- Secretary for the Trauma and Orthopaedic Society in 2023/24.

Driven by my interest for rheumatic diseases, I am determined to raise awareness and broaden our collective understanding in this field. My plan is to arrange regular educational events, invite guest speakers, and create an open forum for discussions and learning alongside the rest of the team.
