We're currently looking at how we can revive Student Media at UCLan, following a lot of interest from students.
Pulse was UCLan's student media society, and did everything from blogging, news reporting, running podcasts and broadcasting from their very own radio station. It was a fantastic opportunity for students studying film, journalism or any other media based course to dabble in various methods of communication outside of their studies, but was also great for those on other courses with an interest in media.
Following a lot of interest from students in the School of Arts & Media, we're hosting an 'interest forum' for those who want to find out more and might like to be involved with the project going forward. This forum is open to all students, no matter what you are studying, and there will also be an option to join online for those in Burnley or Westlakes. You will also have the chance to hear from a former member of Pulse from back in it's heyday!
