Curious about hiking and interested in learning a bit of wilderness medicine? Or maybe you’re thinking of giving it a try? Join us for our first workshop of the year, where we’ll kick things off with an exciting hybrid workshop! You’ll learn how to conduct a full patient assessment and pick up some basic hiking skills from the morning workshop, followed by a leisurely hike around Cuerden Valley Park.
To make it even more exciting, we’ll sprinkle in some clinical scenarios during the hike to apply all the knowledge from the workshop. It’s the perfect event for beginners, giving you a gentle introduction to the world of hiking and expedition medicine.
We’ll provide refreshments during the workshop, and to top it off, we’ll have a fun game (competition) at the end of the hike where the winner will receive a surprise gift!
