An event targeted at Burnley students, particularly from the Medical Sciences cohort about getting started with Medical Research, and the oppurtunities available to them.
This event aims to provide an idea of how useful medical research can be for medical sciences students aiming towards a medical career, while also trying to point interested students in the right direction as to how they can get started with medical research, and the oppurtunities that are present as part of the their course, as part of UCLan as well outside the university.
The agenda will include:
- Getting started with medical research: selecting topics, experimental desgin, first presentations
- How medical research can improve your medical applications
- CV creation, and networking
- Current oppurtunities availible whithin UCLan, and future prospectives
