Student Group Badge Scheme

The Badge Scheme Explained

The Student Group Badge Scheme is a new initiative aimed at increasing recognition for your group.

Climb up the ranks and receive awards by completing a variety of tasks tailored to boost engagement and outreach for your group!

The scheme is a tiered achievement system in the order of: Building Blocks → Bronze → Silver → Gold with additional Mini Badges awarded for other accomplishments.

Badges are displayed on your page from the start of the academic year till the end of semester one of the following year.

The forms should be filled once the full tier has been completed, rather than each time time a badge is earned (excluding minis).

To access them please click on the following links:

Please note evidence must be provided, if requested, or your submission will not be considered.

All evidence must be from the 24/25 academic year.

  • Students are more likely to join a higher tiered group, as it will be seen as more active.
  • You can advertise your badges on group and individual social platforms.
  • Groups can compete against each other to collect the most badges.
