Walking

Walking is something nearly all of us can do, every day, from our doorstep or workplace.

Walking is free and doesn’t require any special equipment. It can be sociable and you can start slowly and build up gently. Walking for at least 30 minutes every day will keep us fit and healthy, help reduce our stress levels and significantly reduce our risk developing coronary heart disease, obesity and certain cancers.
