  • Leading the Union’s involvement in the University Mental Health Charter project, conducting gap analyses, creating action plans, and joining key operational and steering groups.
  • Organising the Vice-Chancellors’ Question Time to foster direct engagement between students and the Vice-Chancellor, with changes to the format allowing more informal conversation and networking.
  •  Advocating for improved Mitigating Circumstances (MC) processes, gathering evidence, conducting an Equality Impact Assessment, and proposing system improvements with a formal paper for university committees.
  • Launching a highly successful consent campaign during welcome week and supporting the university’s compliance with Office for Students (OFS) harassment conditions.
  • Establishing groups to develop guidance for reporting and preventing microaggressions, supporting both students and staff.
  • Challenging himself to step out of his comfort zone by creating and engaging in joyful and "squishy" activities, encouraging feedback from students on wholesome event ideas.
