I’m committed to improving University services for students and improving access to help. I was elected to stand up for students’ rights, champion men’s mental health, challenge the University to support Burnley more and make our campus safer and inclusive for all.
I’m passionate about getting student voices heard and I’ll be working closely with students and student reps to gather more feedback and enact more change than in previous years.
One of my goals for the year is to make the University more accountable to students, and with your support in campaigns and events to get student voices heard, I think we can achieve real change for years to come.
I’m particularly excited to continue and expand my Man Down campaign, which aims to encourage more men to seek mental health support, by making access to resources easier while challenging stigma and educating people on the severity of the issue of men’s mental health.
