Medical students as future doctors will have teaching roles, teaching allows for the development of communication skills essential for physician-patient interaction and by having a better understanding of learning principles students can become better learners themselves. Moreover, perhaps the best way to navigate your way through medical school is to use the experience of seniors who have already walked the same paths. The Phase One MBBS Teaching Society aims to provide a platform for senior students to teach their juniors in a semi-formal manner. Not only allowing them to gain essential teaching skills but also letting juniors learn their way around medical school from first-hand experience of students in the same course.
