Our society intends to offer workshops involving expedition professionals and expert speakers for those interested in hiking or looking to deepen their understanding of it, as well as organising day and weekend trips, providing opportunities to enhance hiking skills, explore expedition medicine, or simply get a taste of what the field has to offer. Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV.
