Join the UCLan Debate Society, a friendly and inclusive group that promotes critical thinking and public speaking through engaging discussions and debates. We meet bi-weekly for casual debates, where members can share their views and sharpen their argumentative skills in a relaxed, student-led environment. Each month, we host tournament-style debates, encouraging research-based arguments on complex topics. Open to all students, regardless of background or experience, we offer a supportive space for diverse perspectives. We also plan fun socials, including quiz nights and collaborations with other societies.
