About us


The PostGrad Research Society is aimed at creating social and academic events for PhD and MRes students to come together!

The society is a social group for Postgraduate Research (PGR) students. It provides support for PGR students by providing the opportunity to meet other PGR students and share experiences.
 

Reoccuring events - 

  • Informal coffee meet-ups are 1st Thursday of every month in the student centre.
  • Teams study sessions - Mon/Wed/Fri 10am-12 & Tue/Thu 2-4pm

  • Encourage Research Student engagement across UCLan
  • Provide an additional support network for Research students
  • Enhance the Research Student experience
