Welcome to our Neurodivergent Society at UCLAN! We are a vibrant community committed to fostering understanding, acceptance, and support for neurodivergent individuals. Embracing neurodiversity as a strength, we aim to create an inclusive space where diverse minds can thrive. Join us in promoting awareness, advocacy, and a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of neurological differences. Community

For this year we have moved to Discord for society chat and event organisation. Discord is a much more suitable platform than WhatsApp has been for user management and moderation.

When joined, you just need to press the 'Verify' button in the #waiting channel to confirm your membership by providing your name, and university registration number. You must have purchased a membership from this page to be granted access to our Discord community.

Data protection

The data you provide to Caoimhe (our server bot) in Discord for confirming membership is sent via Discord as a form. This data is then sent to a private channel in the server for committee members only for the purpose of verfying your membership to the society. Caoimhe does not store this information, and as a society member, the committee already has this information about you available in our membership list. You may, if you wish, request that your information be removed from the Discord server at any time. This will not affect your membership or verified status in the server unless you also wish to have your information removed from the society, which would naturally end your membership.
